It’s become apparent that Bobcats head coach Paul Silas has become disenchanted with power forward Boris Diaw.
Diaw missed part of practice this morning, having overslept. In turn coach Silas stated that Diaw will not start tonight against the Lakers, and will start Eduardo Najera in his place. That turned out to not be the case, but nonetheless, Diaw’s nonchalance is wearing thin with Silas.
There have been rumors that the Bobcats have been interested in dealing either Gerald Wallace or Stephen Jackson for some inside help, but rumor has it that if anyone is dealt, it’s likely to be Diaw. Silas has become disenchanted with Diaw’s commitment to being a pro and his nonchalant attitude. Perhaps its best, with Tyrus Thomas coming back in a few weeks.
