According to several sources, the NFL and the NFLPA have agreed to terms, and the lockout is essentially over.
What does that mean, exactly? Terms are beginning to trickle out, with @adamschefter reporting:
We could see a flurry of activity with the Panthers. Steve Smith, who some have reported has asked for a trade, could get that wish granted. Unrestricted free agents can “officially” start making visits and agreeing to terms.

The doors would open Tuesday, with clubs allowed to sign draftees and rookie free agents. Free agency would begin Friday at 6 p.m. ET, though clubs could begin to speak with free agents starting Tuesday.
