CHARLOTTE, NC – As part of the 30th anniversary season of Charlotte Knights baseball this season, the team announced today it’s first of many promotions during the 2017 season, and one of those promotions will be “All-American Mondays” for the Knights home games that fall on a Monday this season at BB&T Ballpark.
Every Monday night home game at BB&T Ballpark will have a different theme for that night’s game, and on three different occasions this season, the Knights will be wearing an All-American style uniform(pictured right), and the three dates that the Knights will wear the uniforms will be on Memorial Day(May 29th vs. Buffalo), July 3rd(vs. Gwinnett), and Labor Day(September 4th vs. Norfolk), as the Knights will honor America’s military on those three nights during the season. The Knights also announced today that there will be three “Bark in the Park” nights this season, with the first coming on May 15th vs. Durham, and two more on June 26th(vs. Columbus), and August 28th(vs. Durham).
The wildly-popular $1 hot dog nights, presented by Sahlen’s Hot Dogs will be coming back for the Knights “All-American Mondays” this season, and the $1 Hot Dog nights will take place during the games on May 29th vs. Buffalo, June 5th vs. Durham, and July 24th vs. Columbus.
For the game on July 24th vs. Columbus, the Knights will have a “First Responders Night”, as the Knights will salute the region’s first responders that evening.
