Panthers unveil slate of 2017 preseason games

Earlier today, the Carolina Panthers officially released its schedule of games for the 2017 preseason, with 2 home games slated to take place at Bank of America Stadium, and 2 others slated to take place away from Charlotte.  This time around, Carolina will be facing four opponents from out of the American Football Conference(AFC).

Carolina will open up the preseason schedule on the week of August 10-14th at Bank of America Stadium against the Houston Texans at Bank of America Stadium, before traveling to Nashville to face the Tennessee Titans in week 2, slate for the week of August 17th-21st.  The following week will see the Panthers stay on the road as they will make the trek to Jacksonville, Florida to face the Jaguars at EverBank Field, and on August 31st, Carolina will wrap up its preseason schedule against the Pittsburgh Steelers at home.  Carolina and Pittsburgh will square off for the 15th consecutive season to wrap up the preseason schedule, with games in 2014 and 2015 taking place at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh due to a college football game taking place at Bank of America Stadium.

In preseason games since their inception in 1995, the Panthers are 43-46, while finishing at least .500 in their last seven playoff seasons, while finishing at least .500 in the preseason since 2012.

Dates and times for the preseason games will be announced in the near future, while the NFL announced that they will release the 2017 regular season schedule later this month.

Week 1: vs. HOUSTON TEXANS(week of August 10th-14th; Bank of America Stadium)

Week 2: at Tennessee Titans(week of August 17th-21st; Nissan Stadium, Nashville, TN)

Week 3: at Jacksonville Jaguars(week of August 24th-27th; EverBank Field, Jacksonville, FL)

Week 4: vs. PITTSBURGH STEELERS(August 31st; Bank of America Stadium)
